THE THREE CENTRES

How each type processes the world — through feeling, thinking, or instinct. The centre determines each type’s core emotional struggle.

Heart Centre (2, 3, 4)

Feeling is the dominant intelligence centre. Heart types process the world through emotions and relationships. Their core struggle is with shame and identity — ‘Who am I, and am I worthy of love?’

Intense · Magnetic · Connection-seeking

Head Centre (5, 6, 7)

Thinking is the dominant intelligence centre. Head types process the world through analysis and planning. Their core struggle is with fear and security — ‘Am I safe, and do I have enough to cope?’

Analytical · Strategic · Security-focused

Gut Centre (8, 9, 1)

Instinct is the dominant intelligence centre. Gut types process the world through bodily knowing and action. Their core struggle is with anger and autonomy — ‘Am I in control, and is this just?’
